Daniel Ouellet- Vice President, Partnership and HR Operations at Beneva
After obtaining a B.A. in industrial relations and a certificate in legal studies, Daniel Ouellet began his career in the human resources team at Beneva (formerly SSQ Assurance), where he has held a number of positions since 1992.
Since 2016, Daniel Ouellet has been Vice-President, responsible for collective bargaining, labor relations and working conditions, in addition to overseeing HR activities ranging from payroll administration to HR systems management.
In 2020, the creation of the country’s largest mutual insurance company called for a rethink in the use of HR systems. Daniel played an important role in the organization’s digital transformation by integrating technology solutions into HR activities. Under his leadership, the implementation of an innovative platform now enables fluid, centralized management of processes within the company.
